This morning, the city updated us with the following information regarding ongoing negotiations between Premera and Multicare:

"Premera and MultiCare are in contract negotiations.  They have a contract that expires June 1, 2024.  Chances are they will come to an agreement at the eleventh hour.  Premera needs MultiCare as much as MultiCare needs Premera.  Per Federal and State Insurance Commissioner mandates, Premera must notify affected members 30 days in advance of what that outcome could present of the potential they do not come to agreement.  Premera Blue Cross Member were sent letters on April 29, 2024, if the Member has seen a MultiCare Provider within the past 12 months."
